Sig 516; owners input

So I am considering another AR and debating on a build or a factory rifle. In the factory line up I am considering the Sig 516.

If you have one or have fired a few hundred rounds out of one I would like to hear your opinion.

Friend of mine bought one. He let me put a few mags through it. I thought it was just as good as my dd m4v7lw just a little heavier. Has some nice options out of the box. We were shooting 4" steal out of the box with the Magpul flip up sights it came with at 70yrds.

heavy front... proprietary parts...

might as well get a scar or a real sig 556 if you want piston...

otherwise it's just another piston AR and not really the best from what I've seen...

adams arms has a lighter piston setup... but honestly DI works just as well
