Side charge 6.5 creedmoor

Looking in to building an AR10 side charger. Having a little trouble finding an upper. And also wondering why some lowers are .308 and some are 6.5. I thought lowers were interchangeable. Need some knowledge here.

The pattern is sometimes called 308AR or AR308 as well as AR10.
I just Googled around and those large frame side chargers are pricey.
Upper/lower matched set with BCG...
Lower/Upper Receiver Matched Set & BCG, Fulton Armory, FAR-308, High Pressure, Side Cocking, Stripped *

You might try pricing out what it would cost for you to farm out the machining of a conventional receiver IF you want right-side charging.
Left-side charging might be more involved.
Aero Precision (receiver set) and ToolCraft (BCG) go on sale regularly.

Wow that is pricey. And not the left side non recip charger I was looking for.
