The older Randall knives are very good knives, but few are full tang...
And all are very expensive from day one!

A custom made knife that was given to me from my supervisor for my retirement. The knife was locally made by one of our retired sheriffs. I got to pick out the blade profile and the handle material which is redwood burl.

Got this one through BattlBox years ago….. actually was a good sub box. Miss it but they (company) got snobby.
Still available on Amazon for a heftier price than I remember.
It disassembles very easily with no tools and is pretty quick open….

I really like that it's smaller… and switch on the side.
Crummy need to use FFL for shipping if servicing wanted/needed but so far no problems. I snapped the tip long time ago and ground it from the spine.

my new old timers, the silver/grey handled one is the sharpest knife I have ever had anything to do with, period. the long thin boot knife is made for stirring things up inside an animal and the smallest of the bunch should make a fine skinning/caping knife.
