Made short work of that twinkie.

A Helle I just bought from a member here. I've got Mora's, but this is a whole different kind of animal. It feels great in the hand, balanced & very sharp.
It was a good deal and I'm very pleased with it. Now it will become my edc belt knife.

Both the AB and Buck 124 Frontiersman arrived in today's mail. The Buck is pretty enough to be a "Barbecue" blade. The AB ATS-34, flat-grind, Honey Horn scale stiletto is perfect and took a razor's edge in a matter of 5 minutes. (It is a pretty cool pocket knife).

I'm doing the "happy dance".:D

Thanks, Andy.

The Armando Beltrame Stiletto virtually "disappears" into either a shirt or sports jacket pocket. (Discretion is almost always the better part of valor).
The Honey Horn Scales and ATS-34 Hitachi Stainless Steel "flat grind" blade makes it a "useable" knife (not just a defensive weapon). Italian looks, charm, and utility to boot!

$100.00 + $6.00 shipping from Sharper Deals. (I was the only bidder in the auction). ;)

What's not to like?

This TOPS Desert Son arrived today.
I'm going to see how it every day carries because it's such a handy size and it feels really good in hand.
The blade is 3" long and it's 3/16" thick, 1095 treated to around 58 or so and it's a stout little piece but it's only 4.4 ounces.

And it's made in the good ol' USA.

While I have the usual Kershaw/ Benchmade / Buck etc knives my edc is a semi-custom Emerson

Ernie himself says he has the need several times a year to stop being CEO of Emerson knifes and just wants to get out to the grinder and make knives.

I like smaller knives and the "Chopstick" was right up my alley
He makes an undetermined number of knives and says when he's done he doesn't revisit them again as he has too much to do and too many designs rattling around his head.

I thought it was a nice touch, he signed each blade he makes so those that purchased them get a knife from Ernie and not the production floor
In this series he only made 65

Here is number 45 of 65 "Chopstick" which I truly love as an edc knife.
