Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10

How much you liking that 1-10? I'm still looking for an optic for the Mk 14 EBR clone.

I tried it on a 16" rifle. Zero'd and tested at 50yds only.
EDIT: The 100yd range has been flooded. Literally from end to end, about four foot deep.
The conditions for that day were not great, due to the table we were using, and our forgetting the chairs.
Until I get out again, I can not give an answer aside of what's was mentioned.

The scope is nice. Really clear. The eye box is decent. The etched reticle looks real good with, and without illumination.
The illumination is also nice on a bright sunny day.

The scope on the pistol, I was doing a mock up. It needs a different mount to get it more forward. I also think the mount needs to be taller, as the one I have s 1.49"
I'm going to try it anyway, before I decide what needs to be done. But the Red Dot is real nice too.

Well, I'll keep the mount aspect in mind. Trying to find alternatives to spending $$ on a used leupold mark 4.

Mossberg 930 Thunder Ranch I picked up earlier today. That's a +2 GG&G extension tube to bring it up to 6 + 1 rounds. I'll install it tomorrow in the daylight.

1918 receivered Danzig GEW 98/Kar98a Sporter. This Prussian marked German rifle was made in 1919 I believe just after the Great War as arsenals turned to making commercial rifles with military parts. Notice the stepped 24" barrel. These were not commercially marked. The treaty of Versailles ended this practice and the Danzig arsenal was dismantled in 1920 and sent to the Czechoslovakia. Only a few thousand of these rifles were known to be produced...

Nice set.It looks like you are well on your way to outfitting the, except for the optics. I still really like my Vortex Strike Eagle, although I had to buy a throw lever for it. Bushnell has some nice optics with the throw levers included. It does make a difference.

A few weeks ago I got a Zev slide for $175 from the classifieds... Great Deal considering it was over $500 when new......
so I rationalized spending another couple bucks to completely "Rock a Glock"
Only thing left inside that is actually Glock is the mag release, and a few springs... and I have plans to replace/upgrade those already with ZEV Parts.
You know...for consistencies sake..
That deal on the slide doesn't seem so great anymore
I coulda bought a couple new off the shelf Glocks for what I have into this now...

Put a 1.5x carry handle on my T36K today. Optics wise it's nothing to write home about, but it 100% completes the look!
