I'm now down to just one handgun caliber (9mm) with the exception of the Ruger SBH and six-shooters shouldn't count. ;)
I've been wanting to get to there for a long time. At this point in my life my handgun needs are simple, so it seems to make sense.

I also rescued a Ted Williams lever gun in .30-30 today and most notably it's got "SEARS" on the buttplate. (I'm definitely not down to one caliber in long guns.)

Upon closer inspection at home it has more finish issues and pitting than I realized. But it cleaned up pretty well with oil and steel wool and it looks okay.

The plow handle grips are "Magna-Tusk Ivory" made by Arizona Custom Grips. They employ quite a process. They're made to look like aged ivory and I'm extremely impressed with them.

This is my homemade rattle can Mini 14 camo job. Two different greens & two browns, some burlap and steel wool and then sealed with a low sheen clear to flatten it out.

Say hello to the most useless stock... The cheekpiece doesn't give you a cheekweld when using a POSP, or BP-02 mount.

Its pretty much the same chin weld as a wire folder with cheek bar on it. So back to wire folder it is. Just gotta give in to the Russkie mentality with optics and just deal with a chin weld... And just stick to the POSP over the Leupold.

One of the first things I did after turning 21 (state requirement): buy a pistol. That was a few years ago :D. This Sig is so OG they had a place called W. Germany :D. Still THE BEST pistol I have. They literally don't make them like they used to, especially Sig. NEVER failed over thousands (>5,000) of rounds.

Ah yes, the gun that should've won the XM9 US military competition back in '84...but I'm not sore...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

;):D

Nice grab, Race Fan. I hope you get to enjoy that gun for many years. Lord knows it will last at least that long!

I had a SIG P220 - .45ACP - for twelve years. It won me many pockets-full of change on Wednesday afternoons. It finally went back to Germany for four times what I had paid for it..

Just got me one Sunday afternoon.. shot it for the first time earlier today, and fell in love... Great Pistol!
