Beautiful fish in this thread, I haven't been so lucky lately. Definately have been fishing just not catching. Hopefully I can get out there in the next couple weeks while I'm on spring break.

40" Sturgeon caught a week ago last Saturday in the Columbia just upstream of St. Helens... in about 6hrs. of ACTUAL fishing we had 7-8 shakers we (obvioulsy) had to let go, and managed this keeper. For sturgeoun fishing that is pretty lively action!

Funny thing is, the smaller ones we caught that day (before and after) put up WAY more fight than this keeper (which was no slouch in fighting mind you), but he sure was tasty all filleted out, cut into small pieces, dipped in beer batter then fried to tender perfection!
