What do you think of the 1x12 recto? Sealed back, right?
Yeah, sealed back. Celestion V30. I may get a straight face recto cab to move a little more air. That amp and cab are almost ten years old. The speaker is rated at 60 watts, but I had a Theile cab where the speaker was rated at 90 watts. And they can't be used together as the volume on the 90 watt cab is quite a bit lower than the Recto cab. So I got rid of the Theile.

This thread got me to dig up an old unused flambeau box I got on clearance at Walmart. Small box but looks like it will hold tons of mags. Just plucking foam as I go. As I recall case was $5.99 on clearance.

Edit: was able to get 30 mags in there and room for 2 more.

Cool. I have a pistol case that is similar to that. I will search for one that will hold 50 mags. It will be good for range trips.

Just ordered this bastard used for $75 from Amazon. It should hold 100 mags or more based on sizes of other cases.

For my use I'm hoping to get 8 pistols and about 30 mags in it for the range. Stuff I've bought used from Amazon that says like new has always been indistinguishable from new. Customer probably returned it.

Where did you see that?

Got the Amazon "used" one. It's new and untouched. Making spaces for 8.3" revolver or Glock pdws used a lot more space than I thought. So using it for pistols only. If doing mags only you could get a gazillion in there. Depending on how you configure it you could also remove pistol(s) and put a line of mags in its place.

Because a picture in January 2025 is totally proof those things existed in your possession before December 2022. Makes sense if you don't think about it :s0140:
I also wonder if having the receipts with the guns that were bought 10 or 20 years ago, and the mags that were purchased therin would suffice? My Glock was purchased by my son along with many of the mags, when he was a Washington resident, nearly a decade ago.

That was before all of the BS that they've been dealing with in recent years. He may have got some of the mags on post when he was in the Army, or even when he came home on leave. I don't know. It was so long ago that nobody ever thought that something like this could happen..

He gave the gun to his mom as a gift 8 or 9 years ago, IIRC. She shot it once. She wasn't able to hit anything with it. I had never had a Glock that fit my hand well enough to shoot well, other than a 21. So it sat there in its case for many years, on a shelf, behind some books, long forgotten. I had found it while doing some deep cleaning, and decided to play with it.

I had discovered that with the largest back strap insert, it fit my hand perfectly. It was better than the Glock 21 I used to have. I am able to press the trigger all the way through without moving my sights. Then while cleaning out a cabinet, I found a paper bag full of mags, all in plastic baggie packaging that Glock used to use. That was last year.

I am finding all sorts of gun stuff as I continue cleaning. I just found a Galco concealable for an HK 45 compact that I owned abo\ut 20 years ago. Still new in the package.

The ammo situation still sucks. Background checks are still required by an FFL so you can't buy on line and have the ammo shipped to your door...unless you go get a collectible FFL license...which I've been thinking about doing but I keep hoping the existing court case on this issue gets resolved but the wheels of justice move excruciatingly slowly.
Yeah, I need to replenish my 9mm ball ammo. I made it out to shoot a day or too ago. Is hot about 400 rounds.

I will let you know when I post it, but I am writing an article on a guitar forum that I'm a moderator on, regarding the time I spent with Brad Gillis of Night Ranger, and what I learned about Mesa Amps. He is/or was a long time endorser.
