Marlin 45/70 for home defense:D
BLR 7mm mag in case they get away:p
Henry 22 mag for the little stuff

Unique with 100 gr half jacket .30 cal bullets helps 30-30 costs.

I reloaded .30-30 for many years, just for the sake of being able to shoot them a lot. Relatively cheap to load, very easy to reload, and the selection of bullets and powder makes this round extremely versatile. :D

Okay!! Lever guns!! Do they come cheaper by the dozen??

That is an impressive collection, I'm hoping to get a big bore Winchester this summer as a reward for finishing chemo!

Not to show off but THIS IS A LEVER ACTION

Yepa, Yepa, That's an example of the Best of the Best of the Winchester line. And when they chambered it in the Second .30 Gov(.30-06) they simply went from Very Good to GREAT!!!

I'm slowing down. Although I try to shoot every week, the Winchester Trapper .30-30 hasn't been shot in over ten years. Same with the Ruger 96 in .22 Mag. And the Marlin .357? I think maybe I shot it once when I bought it a few years back, but never since.

That's some collection, Lilhigbee! :)

Damn you all!! Now I really need to fix that itch! A nice lever gun might be my next purchase. o_O

Same here.

It's funny, I was actually talking w/ @Caveman Jim about this the other day. I've been putting away a little money for a lever action and then I found a Springfield XD compact selling for great price and I was tempted to use my lever gun money on it, but thankfully I didn't. Now, I'm gonna have to hurry and get one before their all gone.
