Still have the traditional wood and blue steel Marlin 336 and Winchester 94

1951 Savage 99 in 300 Savage. Needs a more appropriate set of rings and scope, but that can happen later.

A 500gr. bullet traveling at the top end of subsonic is gonna have a lot of punch

A lot better, without it is stout, with it is muted a bit and not unpleasant

I have a buddy of mine who mailed me one from his 70+ gun collection way back in the mid-2000s. It's a 16" stainless LSI Puma M92 chambered in .454 Casull. Best gift I've ever gotten by mail....er, I mean, best "vacuum cleaner" I've ever gotten by mail!

I still have it, and it's a joy to shoot. I haven't shot it in about 12 years or so because it needs the fiber optic front sight put back on and I've been too busy to find a gun smith to do it. No pictures because it's in a rifle case in my closet and it's a PITA to get pictures. But here's what it looks like:



LSI only made these rifles in this caliber for a few years IIRC. They're going for over a grand today if you can find them.

Picked up yesterday Marlin 45-70
