i like my vertical shoulder holster for my 1911,its the only way i can carry a full size 1911.
if im walking around i will use an iwb holster for quick access but shoulder holster never shows no matter what i wear so thats another reason i like it.

when i get a new carry piece i will not use it much anymore though since it would take longer to get to my gun if i needed it.

I like mine for hunting/fishing (vertical Gould&Goodrich for beretta 92) but for concealed carry it sticks out like a sore thumb unless I'm wearing a jacket/raingear which I'm kind of a sweatshirt person I think I'm gonna try a crossbreed supertuck next

Miami vice horizontal for my stainless beretta 92, great to drive with , easy to conceal, easy to get to. Do not go cheap get a nice leather one and you will use it alot

I personally think it all matters on your stature and the weapon your carrying. I am not very thick in the torso and my Berretta is to long for a horizontal holster. I would suggest trying several different ones in the clothing you wear most often and with the gun in it. See how it is comfort wise and concealment wise.

I have a Bianchi Skorpio rig I bought for my S&W many years ago wore it quite a bit. Unfortunately It's anon adjustable medium harness and since I/'m up to 2X it only fits one shoulder at a time now. LOL

I prefer an IWB (worn between the belt and pant rather than actually IWB) but will opt for a shoulder harness when it's impractical. a Galco Miami horizontal for a Sig 239.
