Should I sell? What a PITA...

I have been thinking of getting out of 10mm for some time. I always get into a new caliber and then regret it later, 10mm being the latest. My main calibers are: 9mm, 223, 308, 12g, and the un-loadables being 22 and 7.62x54R. I know theoretically you can load the last one, I just don't do a whole lot of loading for it. I should really, but I have so much surplus to shoot through first.

I don't shoot the 10mm much, I really only carry it when hunting. Which I am not even really considering doing this year due to finances. However that is it's sole purpose is a backpacking, hunting, overkill pistol.

The thing is I have a crap load of stuff for 10mm. Die set, powders, cases, primers, brass, and a good amount of high end ammunition and such.

I really want a freaking carbine in 9mm, thats the truth of it. Something not 22 that is cheap to shoot. I need to free up funds, then find one that isn't 2k that uses Glock magazines and works.

I also have a custom H&R Pardner pump I did up that is kicking the ole "maybe I should sell bucket", but probably won't yield much in return for the work done.

The thing is this now that we are a slightly more nazi state, is it is a PITA to perform private sales. So I don't even know if I want to go through that pain. However, I have a few things that need to be done. I started a AR pistol build I want to finish, and I want to get a better scope for a rifle I have, and that 9mm carbine sits there in the back of my head. So I need roughly 1k-1.5k in additional funds. Work has not allowed for much disposable income lately, neither have bills.

Maybe I just needed to rant, kind of getting worked up lately with the shooting, work sucking, and the desire to keep myself in this hobby with costs rising.

Maybe I should just take up something free like yoga or frisbee golf... Who knows, anyways thanks for listening, any input is appreciated.

Take a second job for a while, maybe a small 2nd mortgage/credit line on the house if you're really committed.

Remember, it's only money... that's actually not worth the paper it's printed on. o_O

Lots of guys looking for 10mm stuff, should sell quickly at a good price. I see semi uzis in 9mm for 7 to 8 hundred if you want a cheap but good carbine with lots of parts and magazines available.

I feel ya. I know if I posted it up it will likely sell. I would love for it to all go at once in one big swoop. Likely it will go in pieces and over time. I'll probably start writing down all that I have so as to get a post up soon.

I have been keeping my eyes on different 9mm carbines. If I go crazy I may go for the AKX-9 platform. I always wanted an AK, and it will kill two birds with one stone. I had the CX4 storm and it was a blast. May just have to break down and get something to shoot the crud out of. I truly miss those weekend of shooting a couple bricks of 22, then going to the store and replenishing...

I know that are current monetary system is in shambles, however I still do not like debt. I have a mortgage and that is enough.

If you haven't seen one, look at the Mech-Tech carbine system. Just an upper for your Glock, or 1911: no paperwork.

I've shot one before. Not truly to my liking. Felt very similar to a Sub2k with its size.

I'm seriously leaning towards the AKX-9 if it weren't so darn expensive.
