And that's just what you know about, LOL
Short story:

I had an ex show up at my door about 3 years after I last saw her and the first thing she said was "I had a kid"

Kid was about 2 so it kinda lined up but far enough away that it wasn't really possible to be mine. I almost died of a heart attack at 28.

Only real reason? Financial security, or lack thereof ;) as in, "not enough disposable income to spend on guns, not enough credit lines" :s0064:
That's me I have only one CC, and I pay it off every 4 to 6 weeks. Then, when something catches my attention, I can pounce on it whether I have the extra cash on me or I don't. I usually get it back down to zero balance in a couple of weeks, but this month I spent more than normal, so I will pay it off the beginning of April. Then, if I am able I will get another gun.

A while back when 114 passed I was in a little bit of a panic and I bought several guns, thinking I might never have a chance to buy them again. Most of those I ended up selling. Now I'm in a similar situation and wondering if I should buy more guns before measure 114 takes effect. There are only a couple of guns left on my " something I might need" list. I bought a truckload of magazines too.

What is everyone else thinking? Are we panic buying guns again?
Yes if you can afford it. But ammo and re-loading supplies as well.

i dont think of it as panic buying. Although it may be expidited buying to save money that you have to spend on extra fees that they will charge for sure. the whole thing is just bs. they are only inconviencing law abiding citizens. criminals dont buy guns through legal means i the first place.

Does anyone know when bill 114 will go into effect? If the supreme court denies hearing the motion after 35 days, does bill 114 go into effect in April?
I think I read in one of the threads that the mag ban would go into effect on April 16. It's kinda making me rethink what I'm gonna buy next month. Permit to purchase wouldn't start until next year.

Does anyone know if this would effect selling high cap magazines to out of state buyers?

i've got a few kits with mags I'm trying to sell on gb... would be silly if this law means im stuck with them forever

Thanks asses. For years you dopers told me to buy all the Hi-Caps I could. Now I may not be able to use them.

"Legally"

If it's that big a deal to you, sell em, take the hit and reinvest the proceeds into something different.

Or just keep doing whatever it is you do. Don't blame us for advising on what to buy, you bought em willingly.

when is the exact cut-off again? Before 114 goes back into effect.
