I don't know where to bring this up(admin, lemme know if ok), but I'm seeing CRAZY prices for basic pump shotguns on here. I've been buying 870s for 250-450 for years, now I'm seeing 750-900$ STOCK pumps. Anyone else think this is getting out of hand, or would you buy an 870/500 for that much?

I bought a really nice Sears and Roebuck 20 gauge pump at Prepper Up in Prineville a couple weeks ago for $ 200. I doubt if this thing had 300 rounds through it. Cycles nice and is in good shape. Now if they just open the clays course again. Got all kinds of 20 gauge ammo so I can at least shoot that one.

Anything that anyone thinks they can shoot a rioter/looter/trespasser with is inflated. Just the way things are right now. People are jumpy, just wait a while and everything will calm back down.

I'll state that a couple years back when prices were at their lowest, I got a 535 with 2 barrels and choke for 400 OTD, brand new. Good ol days, maybe? Fantastic Turkey gun, and if I ever end up on the east coast I have a slug gun ready to hunt with due to the extra barrel

As a Joe Bmidemn defense weapon, these scatter guns are popular amongst soccer moms and progressive voting youth for their scatter shot approach. No need to aim.

Point in general vicinity and let it go. They watch their kids play Modern Warfare or play it themselves.

It's simple supply and demand. Demand has spiked due to civil unrest and the election of a tyrant and socialist who will do everything they can to further subjugate 2a rights.

Would I pay these prices? I might if I didn't own guns already. But there are lots of non gun owners or gun owners that don't own much that have finally awakened and seen the writing on the wall, who will pay these prices.

Prices will drop eventually. But it's likely going to be awhile.

It's getting to the point of being financially out-of-reach for the average Redneck to pay for a nice, new shotgun for his daughter's wedding....
