Short barrel on a 1927 thompson

Hey guys I just inherited a 1927 Thompson semi auto. It has the long barrel that's just stupid. I have a lot of 1928 Thompson parts (full auto). I wanted to put my original USGI 10in barrel with the 3in flash suppressor on. Didn't know if that's legal or illegal. Being its so old and they came from factory like this. Any input? Thanks A lot

You have to do the Short Barrel Rifle paperwork first . $200 tax stamp and federal wait. Anything under 16 inches

Be careful which full auto parts you possess. The ATF could nail you for constructive intent to build an illegal machinegun.

Personally I'd SBR it. Or I'd save up for one with a fun switch.
