Should I tackle him? Lol!!! Not everyone should tackle that task. But god gave me the body to de-cleet anyone doing such things.

I'd rather stop the person rather than waiting for someone else to handle it and the bad person moves on to the next produce stand down the road.

Screw tackling the idiot, just walk up behind him and smartly kidney punch him then walk off... o_O

Speaking of full blown crazy people going nuts.

I guess the Banks Vernonia Trail is closed. The parking lot is marked that it is closed, but zero mention of the actual trail being closed. It is, but I didn't know this till we got home. People were on it, so I figured we would ride our bikes anyways.

On the way back. Some crazy is yelling at everyone. "TRAIL IS CLOSED, IM CALLING THE POLICE, YOU ARE TRESPASSING!!!"

WTF. It's not like everyone was walking 2" apart.

Meanwhile the golf coarse parking lot, visible from my house, is jam packed.

Differences? IDK.

People are turning into little informants.

Hahahaha!!!
Brother, I'm the most defiant soul there is. It's a good thing I live over here...

Like the war on drugs or war on poverty?

The war on poverty cracks me up.... 60yrs and billions later, and "they" are still screaming about poverty. Tell me, how do we get rid of poverty when poverty is DEFINED as those earning less than a certain % of median income... are people really that bad at math that they don't understand this game? Hmmmmmm???

I'm told I suck at math. ;)

Poor people are never going to go away. They are 100% required for our society. In no way shape has a society existed, as of now, without poor people.

Poor means lots of things too. Not just money. Poor could mean no control or power. Which, for the most part is the true meaning of poor. The inability to control things. So by that definition, their are a ton of poor people.

Wow, sounds a bit Leninistic.

Sorry, I'm an old guy that was taught by Catholic nuns... therefore, I'm a literalist, not an interpreter/philosopher.

To me, the poor will always revolve around lack of money, or having less than most others. They are economically poor. Catholics have always believed in helping the poor. St. Fancis of Assisi, Sister Teresa and all that, Catholic chartities, Knights of Columbus, etc. However, Catholics also recognize spiritual poor, and poor of spirit, the unfortunate (that poor family or that poor man/woman and the creation of Catholic hospitals... St. Anthony's, St. Mary's, etc) and what you speak of, which is poor of standing.

For me that is a "peon". But a "peasant" would indicate both a lack of money and a lack of power, due to the govt/civil/societal structure in which "peasantry" existed... feudal systems, or even caste systems.

Nowadays, such names are only euphemisms in the U.S. as there are no official peasants, but there sure are lots of "peons". At least there was in the larger companies I sometimes worked in...

Money is a construction of power. Lack of money or control of money, you are poor. Have lots of money, or you control the money, you are not. So, ya, poor is lack of money.

Money is a construction of power.

Where do you get this stuff? Is that the result of a college education?

Black Lives Matter... Racism is a construction of power. The white man is racist because he has the power. A person of color cannot be racist because they do not have the power. Oy vey....

My butthole, usually!

Besides, I have no freaking clue why you brought up racism?

Learn that in college?

Now now...

I didn't bring it up to be offensive, was only using it as an example of the logic used in "money is a construction of power" that you used. It does sound like something Lenin would say, and therefore is offensive and dangerous thinking to me in the current climate of class warfare and people that want to get rid of capitalism and install "Democratic Socialism". Lenin and the current Socialists were/are obsessed with the word "power".

The term "construction of power" is exactly the logic that University Profs and BLM use in their claims that minorities cannot be racist. Which is also offensive to me.

I have no freaking idea why you would use such a phrase/term. To me, poor is poor. No need to make it deeper than that. I've no wish to offend you, but the use of "jargon" IMO is much too rampant today.

Lol ok.

Tell someone not to get offended when they were initially offended. Shouldn't I be the one saying calm down or "oy vey"? Lol.

Money is a construction of power. Stating it's a fascist ideology or comparing it to a Stalin thought means little to the history behind monetary systems. Since humans earliest days values have always existed on certain things, like physical strengths, hunting abilities, etc. Not until monetary systems were created, did things like wealth and poor become realities.

But hey, don't get offended by my statements! ;)
