Thanks to a forum member's classified post, I recently acquired another Jericho 941, a black DA 40SW (mis)labeled "Desert Eagle Pistol" to join the stainless SA 9mm (properly labeled Jericho 941F) I already had, and took them both out, along with a Beretta 950 25 auto I got gifted. I consider myself a novice, borderline intermediate shooter, and this was my first time with multiple handguns in one session. It was also my first time being as systematic about accuracy results. The purposes of the session were 1. to get more famiiar with the recently-acquired 40. and 2. to find patterns related to accuracy and reliability (my 9mm has recurring failures to eject).

Conclusions, with varying degrees of certainty:
1. Having gotten more practice, 40SW is well within my abilities; statistical mean and median accuracy were insignificantly different from 9mm.
2. LAX ammo is good, Freedom Munitions not so much, though the sample size is small.
3. Heavier bullets in 9mm feel and work better. 40SW results inconclusive.
4. The 9mm FTE issue definitely benefits from a deliberately stronger grip, unclear whether it still needs a recoil spring or any other parts.
5. The Beretta seems useless. Beyond arm's reach, accuracy is abysmal despite the mouse-twitch recoil. Within arm's reach, it's too light to be useful as a blunt object, unlike the relatively hefty all-steel Jerichos. Even if I do hit something, it seems unlikely to be more than irritated.
6. I need more practice, preferably when tremor is absent (I have Parkinson's disease).

I'm sure there are other patterns to notice by the more experienced. Do you see any?

Datapoints are below, all shot at 10 paces. Each target group's parameters are the same as the previous, unless otherwise specified. Percentage refers to the proportion of shots that landed within a 10cm (4") circle around the target center.

1. 9mm, 115gr Winchester SG9W Service Grade, 9mm magazine, 17 shots. Felt mild and consistent. 47%
2. New Freedom Munitions 115gr, 10 shots. Felt snappy, and not as consistent between shots. 70%
3.147gr. Felt milder, still not that consistent. 50%
4. Freedom Munitions subsonic "Hush" 165gr. Felt very soft and mild. 40%, but 90% clustered within such a circle above and left of target
5. Reman Freedom Munitions 115gr. 60%, but 80% high
6. ??? (I failed to write down which 9mm this was, so disregarding from statistics). 10%, but 60-70% high
7. 40SW, Blazer 180gr, 41AE magazine, 12 shots. 33%, but 67% high and left
8. PMC 165gr. 42%
9. LAX 180gr, very tight 40SW magazine, 10 shots. Couldn't feel much difference 165 vs 180gr. 50%, but 80% high and left
10. LAX 165gr. 80%, but 100% slightly high and left
11. 9mm, new Freedom 124gr. 50%, but 90% slightly high. One stovepipe jam, and the next shot failed to chamber.
12. 40SW, LAX 180gr again, 41AE magazine. 50%
13. 9mm, 115gr Winchester again. I was getting tired by this point (8am, being awake since about 11am). 60%
14. Beretta 25 auto, 16 shots. 6%
15 (mislabeled 14). 40SW, LAX 165gr again, 41AE mag. 40%, but 90% high and left.
16 (mislabeled 15). 9mm, 165gr Hush, 9mm mag. I was quite tired by now, but that doesn't explain why the immediately preceding 40SW shooting the same mass out of the same barrel length was much more accurate in my hands despite recoiling much harder. 0%, 60% high.

Mean accuracy wrt. target center: 47% (9mm), 49% (40SW).

Mean accuracy (technically, precision) wrt. any 10cm circle: 70% (9mm), 72% (40SW)
