Continuing Tahuya target shooting conversations: Join us June 20th
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites you to join us this summer to check in on our progress around how to best manage target shooting in Tahuya State Forest and view proposed locations for a designated shooting range.
We identified these locations based on input we heard from last year's public meeting, nationwide research of other land managers' approaches for target shooting management, and from ongoing conversations with local community members.
Now, we want to reconnect with you all again and hope you'll share your local knowledge of these sites with us to better inform our next steps going forward.
What we learn in our next steps may inform solutions for Capitol, Yacolt Burn or Harry Osborne state forests. In the meantime, we'd appreciate your help spreading the word about this upcoming meeting.
