This is fox news so maybe on the right but an extremely well written or stated article of the shooters account. This is who every armed citizen confronting a bad guy should be portrayed

Media emphasized that he was a volunteer firefighter as well, with "active shooter" training. I think that them helped portray him as a first responder vs joe blow with a gun. If he didn't have this qualification I imagine mass media would roast him as being trigger happy.

For anyone with sense, this will reinforce the "good guy with a gun" philosophy. Everyone else will say "If no one had a gun, this fine young man who was just turning his life around wouldn't be dead".
