I realize the Shockwave Style Firearms are not shotguns but this category seemed most appropriate for the question.

I am guessing rifled chokes are legal on shotguns?

Would they be legal on Shockwave, Tac 14, etc style firearms as well? I would like to incorporate one into my 50 Beowulf smoothbore firearm build.

Should be fine with the .50 it just makes it a pistol instead of a firearm.

Good question. I have wondered this myself and I would like to do this for my Shockwave.

You can buy a fully rifled bore shotgun barrel and somehow the ATF has stated that this is fine, due to it being a shotgun, despite the caliber being larger than 0.50"

I don't understand it, but IIRC it was something to do with it being a shotgun for sporting purposes and therefore okay. Their regs/rules/laws just are not logically consistent.

Unfortunately the Shockwave is not a shotgun. So... :s0092:
