I recently bought a Serpa holster for my Springfield XD, and in the packaging there was a plastic giz-mo and I have no idea what it is. Can anyone tell me what this is, and what it is used for? Thanks.
Well, when you took it out of the package/blister pack this piece should have been wedged in between the mouth of the holster to prevent it from being crushed or broken during shipping. The hook is to connect it to the mouth of the holster and then wedge up against the other side. It is only a reinforcement to the mouth...but it does make a great conversation piece at the range!
