We reap what we sow, Nation wide in 11/2018 the results show about 52% of all USA voters voted.
This means 48% of registered voters failed to vote.
Stats vary but appears in Oregon less registered Republicans Voted then did Registered Democrats.

I actually think this is awesome, why? Because it will take a full blown take over of rights before some wake up.
I for one am tired of reading in forums, I won't vote as it doesn't matter. Just who the hell do you think is in these offices?
People that were voted in, and in Oregon people not voting gave Kate and easy win.

Me, I am not worried, and not losing sleep over people not doing their civic duty and voting. So the Government will now choose that duty for you.. We made this, and we are who will suffer for being complacent, thinking rallies and letters would change anything LOL. And they havent...................welcome to reality the sheeet storm she is a coming like a runaway freight train

Because at this point there will always be guns .
Even if they are banned in the U.S.
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE GUNS.
JUST LIKE DRUGS.
I can see it now .
JUST SAY NO TO GUNS.
LOL

Federally and in probably 30+ states, gun rights are overall BETTER than a couple or few decades ago. Gains in concealed carry and improvements in gun designs, and repeal/sunset of the national AWB, along with monumental gains/wins in Heller and McDonald cases are huge steps forward. Also, people today who own guns are far more educated and dialed into the sneaky politics of the gun-grabbers. Huge proliferation of guns and gun groups and websites and such in just 2 decades. Think about how guns are in far more hands today than ever...

Sadly, we have in many states taken huge steps backward. All sorts of mixed gun and ammo and magazine bans, waits, mandatory FFL transfers, etc.

To answer the OP, we are at war and the left is never going to stop moving toward total gun bans. Never. It's critically important to train new shooters, get gun owners to vote, get people to be gun owners, etc.

^^^This. This is what needs to happen. Once this occurs, the Republic will be restored to its former healthy condition, it'll be united and this silliness of violating civil rights with unlawful gun laws will cease.
Maybe.. . or maybe we will turn into a military dictorship. I personally am spoiling for a fight, but once that card is played, no going back. We all have to be fully aware of the risks, and have a government and updated constitution in place before it happens. Aimless violence gets us no where.

Another thing for people need to consider is if this country goes down the path of civil war our enemies, our real enemies, WILL take full advantage of it.

Yes. It's important to remember that it took 11 years for the Declaration of Independence to lead to a Constitution. That is 11 years of basically chaos. That's a long time. People were a lot more polite back then, and there were a helluva lot less of them. Today would be much different.

Hey, @Angie. Stop making sense!

This isn't going away. I don't want any kind of civil way. It would be incredibly messy and the only real winners would be our outside adversaries.
I don't know the solution I just want to be left alone.

The emotional talk of an armed revolution is short sighted in the modern era. It would likely simply just be used as more anti-gun rhetoric by the gun-grabbers as reasons you shouldn't have guns. And therefore it's a trap to push gun owners to the point of rebellion, and then use that rebellion as the reason to erase the 2nd Amendment. It would take a super majority of Congress critters and states to eliminate the 2A; and you can bet they'd have it if there were armed insurrections that were put down and order restored.

Further, with all these "extreme risk" pre-emptive protection orders, and like we just observed a guy in the New England states get murdered by police serving one, when he didn't disarm, everyone would be wise to be very cautious about posting such things online. You might find some over-zealous judge willing to sign an order to disarm you...

So it's plainly a bigger picture trap, by gun-grabbers, to come at guns from all angles. Don't fall into it.

And of course our global enemies would relish the US tearing itself apart and unable to protect ourselves or our foreign interests.

Far better to spend the time, risk, energy, and money to rally those 50% of adult voters who are too apathetic or lazy to vote. Voting is peaceful, free, costs no lives, and simple to do. With the %%% of people who sit on the sidelines, if they voted pro-gun and pro-freedom we would suppress all this socialism, anti-gun, high taxes nonsense without a single shot fired... that is the OBVIOUS solution. WE ALL must rally to do that. Everyone here should participate in getting out the vote!
