Almost went to work in Boardman at the then new AWS farm and was looking at living in Hermiston. Went a different way. I really liked what I saw of Hermiston. I can only believe that the businesses in Boardman has had a tremendous impact on property values around there.

They have. Houses, if you can find one, are way overpriced... oftentimes double what they sold for 10 or 12 yrs ago.
Hermie is growing fast... but we still don't have a decent italian restaurant.
