Is it really that had to light a fire? Something man has done for well over 100,000 years. ignition source dry tinder and progressively larger burnable material

Or a spark and hand sanitizer on a cotton jammie.

Back in the day it was common practice to pour melted wax into an open box of kitchen matches which made them water-proof and added fuel to the nmatch.
On a related note, back in the day PPL used a liquid match, a phopherus liquid that would ignite when exposed to air. One day a young girl was playing with the liquid and burned to death. the man that invented the safety match was that girls father.
