I spent part of last night tracking down the specifics of CPU usage which is making the site slow and causing us to have to continuously upgrade our hosting plan. It looks like it's FlashChat, our chat plugin

I'm doing more research now so I can get this resolved. I'm really hoping we don't have to stop using it, but that's a possibility....

Yep, FlashChat was the culprit. I've uninstalled it and I'm currently looking for another chat solution.
