I wanted to post a short review of my new safe as I didn't see much on here about SecureIt.

I moved back to Oregon from Maryland in October. I left my old Costco Bighorn at my house as it was bolted down and my renters wanted to use it. My new house in Oregon has a dedicated gun room/office adjacent to the garage (climate controlled), which I will eventually convert to wall displays with a safe door entrance. In the interim since I have a toddler in the house, I wanted a more minimal safe. I came across SecureIt in a video review and was drawn to their modular system. Their Answer 12 series looked like the perfect compromise: lightweight modularity, but more than a gun locker.

I reached out to SecureIt, who have a respectable 15% mil/leo discount, which sold it for me as the safe's are a bit spendy for what they are. I was able to pick up this model for under $1800 shipped. Yeah, its a lot more than a Big Horn or Winchester, but again, I wanted modularity and a safe that I could move around if need be. A few weeks later, I received it on a pallet and set it up.

The picture below shows my current configuration. I opted for a few pistol hangar pegs, shelves, and then the included 12 rifle mounts. Because I'm a big PCC guy, I decided to split the layout and put a shelf in to accommodate more stands. As configured now, it holds 6 long rifles, 11 pistols (8 on pegs, 3 in the door pockets, and six PCC's/shorter rifles. I can easily bump that up to an additional six PCC's/shorter rifles and probably another half dozen pistols. Not a giant safe obviously, but it suits my needs.

The safe is wired and has two usb outlets so you can plug in lights/goldenrods. The digital lock allows for combos and fingerprints. It also comes with backup keys in case of lock failure. The other nice feature is the dual opening door.

Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. Is it going to keep out a master thief, with an angle grinder? No, but that's not at all what I was looking for. With the safe itself (it's bolted to concrete), inside of an additional locked room, with a motion sensing camera, I think I'm more than set for the sleepy burbs!
