Great article, Dave. I haven't read anything from Jerry that was worthwhile yet.

I liked your writeup Dave. My take is 20-30-40 years ago columnists, commentators, editorial writers (remember when major newspapers were read a lot?), etc. would write a provocative column about abortion or school desegregation or any other "hot" topic at the time, to get their name out there to be noticed. The worst thing that can happen to those folks is to be ignored. The best thing we can do is note they are ignorant sensationalist attention grabbers, then ignore them.

Well then, it's about time to move on the real crux of the matter. Most firearms laws are discriminatory and based on outright bigotry.
We need to move to champion firearms freedoms as a civil rights and social justice issue.

It would seem to reason that Jerry Large ignores FBI crime statistics regarding the vast majority of gun criminals, and concentrates on his agenda, which is spelled out on his blackpast.org page. People that wish to remove one constitutional amendment seem to readily utilize the others, ignorant of the package deal with each amendment supported by the rest.
