Seattle Gun Ban Meeting: Mayor didn't bother to show up

Apparently the meeting went very well. Everyone behaved himself and the gun rights advocates outnumbered the socialists by about 3 to 1. Shockingly, Mayor Nickels (who started the ball rolling on this attempt at an illegal ban) didn't show up. Here's some commentary (opencarry.org) from folks who attended the meeting...
