    Mosin Nagant M91/30 in 7.62x54R. Fully functional and fun to shoot!
    Modified from original with the following:

    Aluminum pillars and glass bedding
    New hex action bolts from RockSolid Industries.
    Russian sniper trigger mod and trigger travel adjustment screw
    Barrel shortened recrowned and threaded (22" barrel, 24 1/2" with brake)
    Muzzle brake
    Aluminum picatinny rail
    Moly-resin coating in desert tan
    Custom wood stock
    Customized bolt with lengthened handle
    AIM sports long eye relief scope 2-7 X42mm with rangefinder reticle (Krylon painted brown)

    I've considered buying a Mosin but I'm a little bleh on them.

    This has totally turned me around - that's a cool gun.

    I'm with the others, if I had cash then I might have spent it on this!

    It does shoot well. I haven't taken it out very far, but I got three touching at 25 yards.

    No gunsmith, all work done by a machinist friend and myself. As the situation stands I no longer need to sell so I will close the thread. Feel free to pm me if you are interested in a purchase/ trade.
