Finally installed the ARMS#18 mount and a Vortex Diamondback scope on my M1A. Going to be stuck at the range all weekend! Just under
1/8in clearance between the rear sight and scope, very satisfied that the sight didn't have to be removed.

I installed one a few years back, make sure you Blue Loctite your screws

I used red loctite? Figured if its good enough for diesel injectors itl do well on these screws Its thread locking. Sighted in great. Takes the M1a to a whole new level!

This one, you can only order it through SWFA as it's a custom special order scope. Has illuminated reticule. Can be used with or without red dot. Mount is ARMS quick release.
