I am wanting to put a scope on a 30-30 win ( poor eye sight). I have a red dot/green dot scope.
Any opinions on if this would work OK or if I need to get another scope?

    Your thoughts please......... Thanks

what brand is the scope? As long as its meant for a center fire and not rim fire you should be fine.

I'd be interested in seeing pics of a 30/30 with a scope on it. Wouldn't the ejection path of the case be right into the scope?

My 30/30 has a peep sight on it.

On top ejectors i've seen them mounted to the side. I'd hate to see a nice pre 64 drilled and tapped though.
