Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Maybe they have been on here or other sites reading about bug out bags or they finally figures out what every here know the average city dweller is only three meals from starvation and our food supply system is has only 3 days in it, so that tells me when shtf, in one weeks time, the majority of folks are going to start scavenging or getting desperate and heading foods or farms where they are going to fed all the lead the can eat.
Fukashima was unique in that it was hit by an 8.4 earthquake which lowered the coastline 3 feet and then was hit by a tidal wave which destroyed it's backup generators as well as phone, radio, roads and rail service, plus TEPCO lied thier asses off which is stereotypical for the japanese culture.
The article misses that the survivors of Fukashima were mostly self-evacuated by the Tsunami warning, not in the town when the reactor was hit. Those that survived wwere evacuated because thier homes were gone before the radiation hazard was known.
sucessfuly evacuating a million PPL?
Look how katrina worked out, Houston's crime problem instantly doubeled, PPl were murdering old women for thier Govt issued "gift cards". When they allowed the evacuees to stay in Houston (lots of Democratic votes), the entire society took a hit, new gangs, instant ghettoes, you name it.
A REAL disaster would lead to massive, prolonged and profound, social disruption and that's IF the PPl can be fed and housed.
