School me on Halo 6

Someone wants to trade me a Microtech Halo 6 for a $600 shotgun. I know nothing about knives except how not to cut myself. I don't have a picture but can someone educate me on these?
I know better than to trade for something I'm ignorant but curious. Are they legal?

LEO hates automatic knives.
The only place you can use that thing is on your own property - or in your own house.
It is a nice knife though.

Make sure it is a real Microtech. There are some near identical clone HALOs made in China.

Cant even own the dang things in WA even as just a collection piece.

I have a Kershaw assisted that is every bit as fast as an auto (might not be as but it's within micro seconds).
