School asks officer not to wear uniform on campus

What a disgrace and stain on Arizona. If I was a parent in this district, I'd be holding a rally this weekend asking for this principal and school board to be ousted. The biggest issue I have with this is the "big picture" that these teachers are taking a stance to indoctrinate ( brainwash) the children that ALL guns are evil and bad, regardless of it being on the hip of a good guy or bad. This kind of ideological attack is not going to go away just because they said sorry to the cop. If they wanted to really do an about-face, they should contact the NRA and have some Eddie the Eagle programs instituted.

Secondly, what caused the problem at the school was that outsiders reported a man with a gun entering the building and that set off emergency procedures within the school. This led to inaccurate reporting and subsequent comments by brain trust guys like you.

So, a uniformed police officer enters a school building and people forget what a cop looks like and mistake him for a bad guy? Then to top it off, the school principal informs the officer not to come back wearing a uniform or bring a weapon back to the school?
Outsiders may have "caused the problem"...but the insiders who worked there facilitated their agenda.

No I wasn't being serious...really

I was a kid in the 80's but I don't remember things being so PC. PC seems to be growing at an exponential rate these days.
I agree with you about Americans being clueless which has been going on at least since the war between the states but I digress.
It just seems like a lot of people today are scared of their own shadows.
I'm sure it is by design.

Personally I think this is a good thing to have happen, and it should get broadcast nationwide. I hope it happens more often. It just shows how overboard the sheeple have gotten when it comes to firearms in public. Maybe (not holding my breath), people will realize how bad they are reacting to firearms when your even afraid of the local police in uniform carrying firearms.

People being afraid of the local PD in general is another topic....

That principal needs to be taken out and horsewhipped, then ridden out of town on a rail. But Hell no, you can bet that most of the parents are right behind him.

If this doesn't stop, we are DOOMED when these kids are in their 30s and the main voting population.

Thankfully I'll most likely be dead by then.

Reality is this: generational changes usually flip flop, from conservative to liberal to conservative to liberal.... That is because the children do not want to be like their parents, at certain ages.... The saying goes:

My dad didn't know anything, when I was Eighteen
He learned a bit, by the time I was 28...
He'd gotten his head on straight, when I was 38
He really grew a lot smarter, by the time I was 50

I absolutely laugh at my 36 Y/O daughter, she thinks she knows it ~all~, Meh. She is Dumber NOW, since she got her Communist Inspired MSW degree, than when she had her AAS, Her Older sister, she is smart like a whip, and is making good $$$$ at her Non-college needed job.
