www.outdoorammory.com is a scam website that lists guns, ammo optics etc, that are not too unreasonably priced.
States they are in Rancho Cordova with a local area code # but no address for the business.

Website says that all transactions are secure. and shows aimages of credit cards, but.... they only take cash type payments " Scam Alert"
Zelle, Googlepay and Cashapp.

I tested them and put some ammo in the cart and proceeded to check out. No credit card spot, but you select the type of cash payment app and then thy contact you with who it goes too.
So I tested them with Zelle and Zelle to be payed to a [email protected]. Small donation to test their legitimacy. Order perpetually on hold and contacting them they state they are waiting for proof of payment, which I had provided a couple times, to no avail. I knew this was a scam, so the test amount was real low and if they would have provided the product, no problem.

Checked the ATF FFL list for Outdoor Ammory or anything close to it and no FFL listed.
So I did a live chat and when I asked their FFL # or name it is under, chat shut down and has not come back online for a week.

I reported site to ATF for selling (scamming to sell) firearms without a FFL
Also contacted their domain registrar and webhost and reported thy were scam.
Site " www.outdoorammory.com " was suspended next day, but 2 days later its back up.
Re-contacted domain registrar and webhost and reported thy were scam, waiting on their action.

Checked to see if if I could make a transaction. this morning, and placed another order to see if they would contact me to arrange payment, which I won't do.
Hopefully the site will be suspended permanently soon.

If you know who's sales floor is pictured on their homepage, please contact them and report.

Thanks

Thanks I reported the number via the web form for deactivation.

"TextNow" (Parent "Enflick" A Google/Bandwidth company) report abuse:
Email:
[email protected]
Web Form: https://www.bandwidth.com/legal/report-a-phone-number/
Results: Scammer phone system shut down in 2 hours, typically.

Found out that textnow was not correct but ONVOY LLC - CA is and I reported to them. of course, ONVOY LLC is in the business of providing scammer phone numbers, so I don't expect anything

More scams…(can't find the other I found last night selling 15-22 mags for $10.95)

You;re'right, scammer. Website is registered out of iceland and they only take Bitcoin, Vanilla Gift Cards, Amazon Gift Cards
Check of BB https://www.bbb.org/us/ak/anchorage...es/raniersec-1296-1000105551/customer-reviews
and one of the posts on BBB states "It's FAKE! I live in Anchorage, there is no store at that address! Do fall for the scam"
"I think he meant do not fall for the scam"

Scammers went all out on the web site to DECEIVE and STEAL!!
Bottom line: When merchandise is available for sale at what looks to be a selling price that is too good of a deal, well it is because it is a SCAM!!
Nice picture they have from a San Diego store!

Thanks for finding the store it belongs to. Picture was a little too poor quality to try to read any of the signs.
Actually some of the prices on outdoorammory.com aren't unreasonably cheaply priced. They hit the middle point to make it look good

A quick check of their phone number says it at all;
AZUSA,CA(626) 515-3572 is a voip number serviced by TextNow - 360 Networks - SVR
In and of itself doesn't mean anything - I use the same cell provider because it is cheap. That said, most legit businesses would have a landline, and Textnow does provide free online phone service (with ads) so it would be easy for a scammer to use it for scamming.

Like SOME scammy Home Improvement Contractors.....
They change their name (business name) often and move on to the next victim.

The regulatory agencies......Rrrright...... they are NOT usually all that interested in "consumer protection". Call it (at the most).....Playing Lip Service.

This leaves me to wonder......is anyone tracking the IP address? Yeah....there is a way around that too. Oh well.

Yeah....some people sometimes just need to be "strung up."

Aloha, Mark

not to sure I'll accomplish anything, 130 orders have arrived at outdoorammory.com between my first initial test and my second test.
I would assume 25-50% will send money thru the cash app ways, meaning they are making money with little to no effort
I have an acquaintance back east that has a small on-line store and uses Instagram to draw in a good majority of his customer base and scammers have copied his merchandise photos and post Sponsored adds on Facebook with a link to a fake e-store for the sole purpose of gathering credit card information and I would assume it could potentially evolve into identity theft as well. I have a screen capture saved on my phone & desk top. Every time one of those stupid ads. pop up in my Facebook news feed I post my capture/warning (with proof) in their comment sections. It's amazing to read the comments and how insanely gullible people really are. Hook line & sinker! My heart genuinely hurts for this great country because stupid people are really out weighing folks with common sense and intelligence.

Something for everyone to know: This is a deceptive web address: https://i2.wp.com/outdoorammory.com...-ammo-store-san-diego-1-1.jpg?resize=1200,900

Look carefully at the first part:
i2.wp.com/outdoorammory.com/

At a casual glance you may think you're going to Outdoor Academy, but the placement of the slash is important.

//i2.wp.com/outdoorammory.com

You are actually going to a page on wp.com, which is WordPress. Anyone can create a page WordPress; That's what it's for. They may shut it down if you report them. It's trivial to set up a new copy, but it does slow the scammers down a bit.

I wish I knew this on the 29th but couldn't find anything showing scam and chat was up and email responsive. Lost money sent to Chandler88landon@ gmail.com on order. Chandler M Landon for zelle

FYI, outdoorammory.com is now auto forwarded to https://buyammoandglocks.com/ and the same deceptive and fake crap is going on there.
won't provide name or number for the FFL associated with them, because they don't have one.

Also google phone numbers and chat that does lip service

I have reported to their domain and webhost for fraud, next is internet Crimes https://complaint.ic3.gov/default.aspx and ATF
