Scale Pan Value

Misplaced an Aluminum scale pan I have used forever on a digital scale. Soo; off to the store...third store has one and at the checkout stand I learned how valuable these things are...$15. So I went online to the makers site/store to see if it was a mistake after all these are punched out aluminum.
Nope they wanted $18.95.
Guys keep a hold of those pans do not bend or misplace...
