SBRs in Washington someday?

I found out somewhat recently Washington is one of the states that does not allow short barreled rifles. Has there been any legislation in the past on getting this changed? I'm sure with the current gun climate it's not going to happen anytime soon, but it'd be a welcome change. I would even go meet with a rep if I thought it would help. I would think with the current ATF tax stamp requirements it wouldn't be an issue.

Thoughts on sbr legislation and feasibility in the future?
