Build Thread SBR vs 1639?

Does anyone know how this would work:
I buy an AR style rifle today. If I start the SBR paperwork it will take past implementation of 1639 for my stamp to arrive.
Will I need to resubmit any paperwork with the state and jump through 1639 hoops? Or is it strictly a federal issue and the state (And all the 1639 bs) is no longer a part of this transaction?

Strictly an NFA matter, you already passed a background check and own the base firearm. The state doesn't know sheite from shine-ola what barrel is on it.
