XXXX,

Thanks for contacting me regarding SB941. I do appreciate the thoughts of all those who provided input on both sides of this issue. After five hours of debate in the House yesterday, I decided to vote in favor of this bill. I know that good people can disagree at times and this is probably one of those times.

I respect your right to spend your time participating in our political system in any manner you choose.

John

Please vote no on SB941. Poorly written bill which will do nothing to stop criminals

Your vote for this poorly written bill will result in myself and many others devoting our free time and money on recall efforts.

Respectfully

XXXX

They need to put career criminals away for a long long time. They need to make the penalties for using a gun during a crime so severe some of this scum will never see the light of day. And any one who shoots a cop should automatically have the death penalty as a result of their actions.

But....we know it's not about controlling "gun violence" or to prevent criminals from getting guns. It's all about gun control.

I am voting with my money, I will boycott in every way I can the state of Oregon until they repeal the law.
How can we all boycott the state of Oregon with our money? I am unsure how I can have a affect on this. I have read in several different threads, boycott alcohol, smokes, fuel...... I'm a non drinker/smoker, I limit my driving as much as possible and I don't hunt or fish or the like. So what are other ways can boycott the state without putting my family at risk?

Maybe someone could start a thread addresses all the practical ways we can boycott funding this oppressive government. I thought about starting one and asking the question, but I was unsure where to post it on the forum. I think we need resources like this where we can gain a little information and if everyone does a little bit, we can have a greater effect overall.

I will be sending my donations to the recall efforts and OFF by the end of the week.

Try real hard to think clearly about which side you are on.
If you are moved by:
Victimized, hungry, poor, women, children, spotted owls, polar bears, convicted criminals needing another chance, enough to support a liberal, socialist, anti-gun, politician
You are a Republican in name only.

A opportunistic bottom feeder was just arrested for human trafficking.
He was pimping a 20 year old female, kidnapped from Orange County CA.
How does one control an amoral cannibal?
Lock him up for a while, till his better nature surfaces?
I suspect my opinion will feel offensive to some, but in all sincerity,
Since no one in authority will put career criminals away forever (remember 3 strikes?),
I believe with all my heart that execution is suitable punishment.

The rot is deep, maybe too deep, might need to torch the slash pile...
"Eugene City Council this afternoon voted 5-2 to donate $50,000 in city funds
to Nepal
.
The donation was first proposed last week by south Eugene Councilor Betty Taylor,
but the council majority delayed making a decision on the request until today,
mainly because Taylor's proposal did not specify where the money would come from.

Tuesday afternoon, city staff told councilors the $50,000 would come from city reserves."
Well God Bless their cash-flush bleeding little hearts!

If the Amoral Cannibal is Gay , a Pedo or another Minority he deserves "Special Rights" & Protections as a practioner of just another alternative Lifestyle ...

I would like to say just put your money away in savings and that would boycott the state a great deal but a corrupt bunch like this in government and your savings are not safe. You have a life and you should live it and enjoy it with your money, all I ask is if the state is going to get a big chunk then try not to give it to them.o_O

Little things add up, make cuts where you can. Nearly everything you do in life is taxed choose carefully.
