Wrote them again, did they not get it the first time?!?! What don't they understand about three hundred people who actually care enough to take the time out of their day to voice their opposition compared to the 30 or so who showed up in support with nothing but ridiculous exaggerations . Just drop it!

They have been getting more left wing socialist up there by the day.
Maybe they need to be attached to California and both states moved to indonesia.
I would definitly like to see Portland attached to Washington State and out of our hair.
But what happens there seems to happen here.
I hope a firestorm is raised on this one.
Last fiasco up there was the legislators wanted to turn the WDFW over to the DNR. That didn't fly. The legislators were so overwhelmed with mail they dropped that like a hot rock.

This a copy of the email I recieved from Rep. Joe Zarelli's office

Dear Lora, This legislation did not go anyplace in the regular session and it is likely that it will not move during the special session but we will keep an eye on it. The senator is not in favor of legislation like this. Thanks again for writing and sharing your comments. Just guessing here, but the sponsors of this bill in the special session probably know full well that this isn't going anywhere, but they can satisfy some of their core constituent antis by throwing this up again. Methinks this is mostly political theater.

Either that or they keep throwing it out there, getting all of us stirred up calling wolf until we get complacent and stop worrying that its going to pass, and then bam it does...

Not saying y'all shouldn't keep calling. Just saying I think these guys are using it to prop up their political base just as much as they are trying to get it passed.

I think that just as the fed demoncats are now ramming through socialized commie medicine in kamikaze form (because they know they are toast in Nov, anyway) the state level demoncats sense the gigs up, and may try a suicide run on the budget and our liberties

If they do so, the first order of business for the next legislature MUST be to overturn everything these traitors have passed

Exactly! Once they are gone undo all they have screwed up.

I got this from Sen. Pridemore's office staffer"

"That's just a procedural thing, since we began special session on Monday. It doesn't mean that this bill will now be making any progress. All bills that hadn't passed but weren't moving to the holding pen of "the X-files" get "reintroduced" like this, it just means that they are technically "alive". That doesn't mean that a bill has any greater chance of being resurrected than it did prior to the start of the special session. This bill wasn't going anywhere – it still isn't."

Alison Mielke
Legislative Assistant
Senator Craig Pridemore
49th Legislative District

I think we should pick someone from each district that is a gun rights activist from this board(seeing as how we have the most common sense of people out there) and run them for offices. I think it could be possible and then we could get suppressor use and such.

Adam Kline is a socialist nutjob.. he wrote this infernal thing, and the ONLY reason it got a hearing is that HE is the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee..... find the video of that hearing, and he proves himself an incompetent idiot beyond all doubt. He threatened at that hearing to try and get it onto the Senate Floor for a vote despite its early demise in the hearing HE called... a waste of time and money.

THIS lout needs to be removed from office.....

I'd be up for the idea of NWFA members running for office... I've considered it myself, one rep and our senator are up for grabs this November. Not sure what all it entails, but if dummies like Kline can make a hash of it, I rather expect I could do at least as well.

Go man Go - Anyone running for office - please let me know so i can drum up support through other organizations I am affiliated with. I think it would be a great idea to have a section on the board dealing specifically with the topic of getting reasonable, constitution respecting people elected to office. Hard to imagine better candidates than those drawn from our own ranks. The current crop of lawyers is selling us down the river just as fast as they can stuff their own pockets...
