Just met a old guy, 80 something and he told me they usto make out of 12g. He would put a #10 estes rocket in the shell with tungsten tig rod in it. "Would go through anything and blow up". Has anyone heard of such a thing? Or is he pulling my leg. Sounds crazy to me.

He's probably one of those that believe a 12 ga shell loaded with Rock Salt can hit a person over 50 feet away and penetrate clothing.
