I believe one of the main reasons for the revival of the 'dome' with the off-the-grid movement, is the fact that the curved structure will deflect/ survive hurricane strength wind gusts. Most convential 'boxes' will not.
 
SilverFox...what side of the mall is that on? I want to go and check it out. That thing has a bunch of possibilties for alot of different things

East of the Burlington Coat factory (ooohhh snap gotta get my shop on) and north of the red robin.

Three hours to construct and completly mobile if needed.

There was a sign saying veiwing between 1-5 Mon thru Sat.

Those containers are very cool too!
I like the dome tho for what its intended purpose is: durable, low cost & energy efficient. According to the website, the parts are modular & you could dissasemble your dome & move it in a pickup truck to a new spot if needed.
