Saw this yesterday at the Super Mall parking lot in Auburn, WA

Saw this in the parking lot yesterday. They have one of these domes setup and partially furnished inside with a loft and a solar panel.

Don't know the price but I imagine after looking at it I would guess $10 to 15K.

The web site says they manufacture these in CA and OR. Seems worth checking into.

I think there is a place off of I205 just north of the Clackamas Town Center that manufactures these. They have one on top of the building to advertise.

I believe one of the main reasons for the revival of the 'dome' with the off-the-grid movement, is the fact that the curved structure will deflect/ survive hurricane strength wind gusts. Most convential 'boxes' will not.

East of the Burlington Coat factory (ooohhh snap gotta get my shop on) and north of the red robin.

Three hours to construct and completly mobile if needed.

There was a sign saying veiwing between 1-5 Mon thru Sat.

Those containers are very cool too!
I like the dome tho for what its intended purpose is: durable, low cost & energy efficient. According to the website, the parts are modular & you could dissasemble your dome & move it in a pickup truck to a new spot if needed.
