Savage MKII aftermarket mags?

How so? I was thinking about ordering some of those, but would like to read about the issues you're having.

I have two 10 rd Mags and one 5 round mag.

The 5rd mag is having problems staying locked in place. I have to hold it up till the first round cycles.

The two 10rd mags if you fully load them, look at the top round the wrong way, it literally volcanoes all the rounds out. They just go everywhere. I'm aware I don't need to fully load them, but it's annoying not to be able to.

these are newer with only 700 rounds through the rifle with these mags so it's possible they need more use but it's frustrating when your doing a mag change in the middle of a timed event and your mag unloads everywhere.

Pissed me off so much, I ordered a new Savage rifle with rotary mag (I like savage).

I haven't had any problems with my own 5 or 10-round ones.

For higher capacity, I have these 20-round mags and they have worked, too:

Savage MK II 20rd

20 round magazine for savage MK II rifles.

Maybe I'll give the 20rd a try

Its a minor inconvenience sometimes which is why I'm looking for other options. Not the end of the world
