I'm posting this for a friend. It's a Savage 99 in 300 Savage. From my research on it, it was made in 1950. It has the brass round counter on the left side of the receiver. The bluing is worn- to be expected from a 62 year old gun and the wood is in good condition- no splits or cracks. The rear sight is missing from a previous owner but the front sight is still on it. The bore is in fine condition and there is no abuse or damage to the gun, just normal wear. It comes with a bushnell 4-12 mounted in weaver hi view rings. It also has a leather sling mounted on it. Asking price is 300.00 obo. I have the gun here in springfield if anyone is interested.
