Savage Model 93r 17HMR, Boyd Laminate Stock, 6-18x40 scope with flip up covers, bipod and sling. Very nice rifle, just looking to build something else. Might trade towards nice tactical style bolt action in .223 or .308. $500obo

I don't mean to go off topic on your thread but how do you like that boyds stock? I have been looking at getting one to replace the cheap synthetic one on my savage 17 HMR Everything I have read has been good but never dealt with or handled one of theirs personally.

They are nice stocks for sure, not overly cheap to acquire but definitely nice. The .17's just don't have a lot of options available for nice stocks so what you do find available is expensive typically.
