I've seen the advertisements the past several months in the gun rags about the new (relatively) Savage 350 pump shotgun. From just the pics it looks like a direct Ithaca M37 knock off with the exception that it appears to have either twin action bars or one action bar on the RH side rather than the LH side.

I'm a big Ithaca M37 fanboy as I have 3 of them, one recently purchased from a member here. I've put thousands of rounds thru my M37's with nary a hiccup. Not sure what to think of this. My first reaction is to wonder how much they've cheapened it from the true Ithaca M37 design, but I must confess I haven't seen one up close. If this is a good low priced version of the proven Ithaca M37 design they might have something here.

Has anyone seen one up close?
