Salem Oregon 12th st Gunshop

They are a great little gun shop. I was looking for a S&W BG380 for my wife, they didn't have one in but took my number and said they would call me when they got one. About 1 month later I got a call letting me know they got one and asked if I was still looking for one, I had already found one 2 weeks before, I told them I already got one and they said that if there was ever any other gun I was in the market for be sure to let them know and they would look out for one. Really good people and very helpful. I bought a beautiful k98 Mauser from them about 2 months ago and I am loving it.

The 12th Street Gun shop is now closed. Bill did not want to deal with some of the new regulations and sales reporting that was being required of him. Least that is what I heard at the gunsmiths the other day when I asked why the shop was closed.

I went into the store about a month ago when I heard it was closing. I was told the City of Salem wanted him to do additional registration paperwork and it would just cost too much to comply. Yet another business run out of the city due to regulations. Had a non-gun store nearby shut down a few months prior with the similar story.
