Fun with my son!
He is left eye dominant learning to shoot lefty which takes some concentration

This was the first range session with the updates, there are a couple of things that need to be adjusted, I need to move the scope forward as it took a bit of adjustment to keep a clear sight picture, probably my form, also the magazine release is a pain, to small and the plastic mags don't drop free

Also of all the ammo tested yesterday all of the groups except for the Thunderbolt, CCI quiet and the federal heavy match could be covered with a dime.
I will use CCI standard velocity as my control ammo, and continue testing at longer distance

In order to adjust my view through the scope, I extended the length of pull, kind of a cheap fix with recoil pads but it is workable. I set up the range and got to it

I focused on CCI Standard velocity and Norma Match today. Shooting at 25, 50 and 75yds. Shooting prone, hits were relatively easy and I did record my mil settings. Barricade practice reminded me how old and overweight I am. I need to work on non standard positions.

I also settled on a Wiebad Fortune Cookie for my large bag

Cool project. I had the same problem with the magazines being sticky. I removed the action and used a flat file to take off a little bit of wood from both sides of the magazine well. Not much, maybe a 32d of an inch. Took care of it.

Back to the P94s; still developing my MIL chart in 5 yard increments. Hit testing hard these last 2 weekends. I am amazed at the differences in 22 ammo. I have been using Norma Match as my control and experiment with various other brands. It is fun to see the arc of the bullets through the scope at longer ranges. I shot at 50, 70, 90 and 115 yards yesterday

I'll be trying Lapua Center X soon, hopefully the p94s likes it.

Yesterday's range: small rounds are 3" with a 4" and 6" in the back

I got a few days on the east side of the state, so I extended my ranges a bit. Spent a couple of days social distancing with the P94s, targets at 94, 147, 207, 213, 218 and 347 yds. Yes a .22 can be relatively consistent at over 300 yds. Although windage at that range is frustrating to say it mildly. 17 mils @ 347 with the rough .5 to 3.5 mil windage. (Eley Team)
