I am looking at a Sako 85 Bavarian in 270 win it is lightly used anyone have any thoughts ? This is not one that will be traded but a lifetime pass down to son/daughter and of course I get to use it for now .

In better times I would go for whatever caliber but now going with what I have so 270 works for me at least I do not have to search for ammo.

Well sheeeeeeeeet got the e-mail and they sold the one I was looking at so have to start all over again . I would go with the same set up but go for a 308, 243, 25-06, or the 270 lets see what the ole interwebbs turns up .
