Hello,
This rifle is a Sako 85 classic in 375 H&H magnum with a Leupold VX-6 2-12x42 scope.
It has a beautiful grained wood stock, and is ready for plains game, north american game, and dangerous game.
I have never hunted with this gun and only shot it at the range for load development.
There are some light marks on the left side from resting against another bolt action in the gun safe (see photo).
I performed load development for a variety of loads in anticipation of using this for plains game + cape buffalo.
This is an accurate rifle, and I'll provide details on the custom loads that are tuned for this rifle.
Included in the sale are the custom hand loaded rounds (that can only be sold for components):
31 Barnes 250 gr TTSX
50 Nosler 260 gr Accubond
25 300 gr Swift A-Frame
25 300 gr Hornady dangerous game solid
50 260 gr Nosler Partition
Also included are the following reloading components:
Redding neck, full length, and sizing die set
100 Barnes 250 gr TTSX
112 Nosler 260 gr Partition
50 Nosler 260 gr Accubond
44 Sierra 250 gr SBT
44 Speer 270 gr BTSP
2.6 pounds of Reloder 15 smokeless powder (excellent for this cartridge)
18 used brass
